Here are some guidelines on what to wear for your session:

Dressing Formal Or Smart Casual

Dressing formal or smart casual will create a timeless portrait that your family with adore and cherish for a lifetime. Our portraits will stand the test of time and will be the most cherished portrait your family will possess.

Dark Tones

The key to a beautiful portrait is to let your face and eyes be the soul of the photograph, wearing dark tone colours will allow the focus to be just that. Dressing in similar clothing creates a cohesive look, and a sense of unity.

Dark tones clothing is most pleasing and slimming to the eye.

Dark classic, non patterned clothes looks best with the dark textured background we have in the studio. We would love for your beautiful faces, connection and expression be the main focus of the photographs taken. Solid colors will draw attention to you — and not your clothes!

Consider all dark tones, which include navy, dark gray, black and dark earthy tones.

Long sleeves for adults are preferred to focus on the facial expressions and help us create a flattering and timeless portrait.

Wear what makes you feel CONFIDENT

There’s no need to go out and buy new clothes if you already have pieces that make you feel confident! The camera will be able to pick up your confidence — so choose clothes that you know make you feel great. The most important aspect of any portrait photography session is that you look good, so you can feel good while shooting!

Layers and textures

So if you love variety, we would love for your to consider textures - so find black tops with different types of textures such as lace, furry details, different types of fabric etc. Also it is key is to choose clothes that will complement you

Stay true to your style

Your portrait photography session is not the time to try to revamp your style! Do choose clothes that align with your personal style because they’ll make you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Additionally, people who view your portraits will be caught off guard if the images don’t represent how you typically choose to present yourself to the world.

Any hats or caps, and props

Those are welcomed, but not necessary.
